"Harry Crow" is a brilliant Fan fiction written by Robst. Revolving around a Harry Potter that is very different to canon, one that begins his story in an alternative universe to canon from the very beginning. The Harry Potter written about here has been taken in by the noble Goblins of the wizarding world. Thinking on their feet they become his guardians. The story revolves around how Harry has become a Goblin, in all but looks, how he is seen in the wizarding world, and the mission he has begun to right the racist ideals of the pureblood wizarding government.
This has been one of my most anticipated Fan fictions, I wait day after day, just hoping that the story has been updated ahead of schedule. I began reading this story 3 weeks ago, and devoured it in just a few days, it remains, even now as one of my favourite Fan fictions. It has expanded on one of my most favourite magical races, and goes into far more detail then in canon regarding Goblins. It has fuelled a new obsession, and now, I keep watch over the fandom waiting for more friendly Goblin stories.
With a length of 399 thousand words, it will take a while to read, and with such a compelling story, I recommend rereading multiple chapters. With 58 chapters, you may want to ration yourself, for they are addictive, and you will certainly want to savour your time with Robsts "Harry Crow". Do not fret though, more chapters come each week, and with each one you will be begging for more.
Robst is a master of writing, him being one of my favourite Fan fiction authors is no surprise. The level of effort that is put into the story is phenomenal. It is rare to find authors that can expand upon small parts of worlds, Robst does this though, almost effortlessly with the Goblin race. He has turned what most saw as glorified house elves in a race that could easily rival the witches and wizards.
Without wanting to make this story sound too 'Sirius' it highlights the racist ways of the wizarding world, which we can easily draw comparisons with our own world. It does though remain to be a brilliantly fun story that is a great read, I implore you to read this and enjoy the Wonderful ...Wizarding... World of Harry Crow (Potter).

Blueowls - To Shape and Change
"To Shape and Change" is one of the many Harry Potter time travel Fan fictions that has been written through the fandom. In this story Professor Severus Snape travels back in time from an alternative future to canon. Looking to right wrongs that he had made, and help Harry fulfil his destiny of defeating Voldemort and becoming his own wizard.
Having only started to read this story 5 days ago (completing in 1 and a half), I could not stop, at the thought of putting down my Ipod (which is what I read Fan fiction on predominantly), I almost became physically ill due to wanting to know what was going to come next. The Severus Snape that is written in this story holds true to the Snape that was written by J.K Rowling herself. Unlike many of the other Snape time travel stories, this Snape holds true to the image that was created by Rowling.
Many readers of this story will become enthralled with it, and with a steady pace the story will not disappoint. At a length of 227 thousand words it manages to accurately describe what is happening within the world, without missing out on keeping it interesting. 33 chapters are included in this story, and with a normal reading pace, it will keep you busy for a few days, to a week.
With a heavy emphasis on topics uncovered mostly by Rowling, Blueowl touches on where magic comes from, how it is used, and the undeniable fact, that it is not a spell that is inherently good or evil, but the intention of its use. You my have fears whilst reading this, of it being a super Harry, but with good explanations, for what happens throughout the story, these fears should be alleviated.
Blueowls, "To Shape and Change" is a fun story, expanding on fun ideas and what Harry should have received in canon, it is truly worthy of reading. I sincerely hope that you check this story out, and have a great time immersing yourself in the Wonderful ...Wizarding... World of Harry Potter.

Stoplight Delights - Against the Moon
Against the Moon is a strong story. It is focussed on the marauder years, with the main character and focus of the story being little Remus Lupin himself. A discovery styled Fan fiction, the discovery of friendship, where there was no hope for it, and how lifetime friendships grow.
I have enjoyed reading this story on many an occasion, although hard hitting, with incredibly powerful scenes of werewolf transformations, it has a gentle softness to it. Breaking the mould of most marauder stories, it does not ostracise Peter Pettigrew, but shows him as he was. The Peter Pettigrew created by J.K. Rowling and later expanded upon by Stoplight Delight, is not inherently evil, but shows the journey that created the Pettigrew we all love to hate now.
At a length of 639 thousand words, it might take you a few days, maybe weeks to read, but it is well worth the effort. Unfortunately unfinished at this time, it has such a compelling story, and impeccable writing that I would still recommend reading it.
Stoplight Delight herself has not chosen to stop writing the story, but has been forced to stop due to a illness that causes an in ability to write. The last few chapters that have been posted were written using voice recognition software, but the quality remained to a brilliant standard. Please join me in sending good thoughts and wishes to a speedy recovery.
Overall, Against the Moon is a great read, it shows how bonds were formed between the legendary marauders, the troubles that a young Remus Lupin goes through and their adventures through the Wonderful ...Wizarding... World of Harry Potter.
