Blueowls - To Shape and Change

"To Shape and Change" is one of the many Harry Potter time travel Fan fictions that has been written through the fandom. In this story Professor Severus Snape travels back in time from an alternative future to canon. Looking to right wrongs that he had made, and help Harry fulfil his destiny of defeating Voldemort and becoming his own wizard.

Having only started to read this story 5 days ago (completing in 1 and a half), I could not stop, at the thought of putting down my Ipod (which is what I read Fan fiction on predominantly), I almost became physically ill due to wanting to know what was going to come next. The Severus Snape that is written in this story holds true to the Snape that was written by J.K Rowling herself. Unlike many of the other Snape time travel stories, this Snape holds true to the image that was created by Rowling.

Many readers of this story will become enthralled with it, and with a steady pace the story will not disappoint. At a length of 227 thousand words it manages to accurately describe what is happening within the world, without missing out on keeping it interesting. 33 chapters are included in this story, and with a normal reading pace, it will keep you busy for a few days, to a week.

With a heavy emphasis on topics uncovered mostly by Rowling, Blueowl touches on where magic comes from, how it is used, and the undeniable fact, that it is not a spell that is inherently good or evil, but the intention of its use. You my have fears whilst reading this, of it being a super Harry, but with good explanations, for what happens throughout the story, these fears should be alleviated.

Blueowls, "To Shape and Change" is a fun story, expanding on fun ideas and what Harry should have received in canon, it is truly worthy of reading. I sincerely hope that you check this story out, and have a great time immersing yourself in the Wonderful ...Wizarding... World of Harry Potter.
